HTC Vigor appears on Dutch online store

This unknown handset has appeared on a Dutch online retailer, The Phone Warehouse. The spec includes a 4.3-inch HD display (1280×720), 1.5GHz dual-core processor, Gingerbread, and a “integrated Beats Technology”. The rumor has that this handset could also replace Verizon’s Thunderbolt with its own LTE radio eventually. The release dates are still unknown.

Apparently, this rare looking Android device has shown up in Craigslist! Not officially released by HTC, the Holiday features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor (presumably Qualcomm’s), 1GB RAM, 4.5-inch qHD display, Gingerbread, 8MP camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera, and a “myATT” logo which suggests that this device is destined for AT&T.

  According to AndroidLib, an average of 96 apps are being downloaded per second. Also, in one month there’s about 17,000 new apps being submitted. This will take the total number of apps to exceed 140,000 sometime this month.
